Hello lovelies, I recently got back from Czech Republic and absolutely loved visiting there. It was an impromptu girly trip with my friend. Planning the trip wasn’t as difficult as planning the outfits!
5 days trip and had to pack in a single carry on bag. Imagine trying to fit clothes, shoes, makeup, cosmetics, toiletries, hair tools etc in one bag. Nightmare situation if you are hoarder like me! Shopping was even more horrifying; trying to get one of a kind outfit, which makes you look slim (having put on a ton of weight) was like a quest for the sorcerer’s stone. As usual I found solace in ZARA, lol!
Luckily I got some good pictures so decided to write this blog on different looks. I have never done a look book blog, so please bear with me!
Day one:
Since most of the day was spent sky diving (You can check my sky diving experience here) will start with night look.
Night: The plan was to go pub crawling and experience Prague at night, and since it was quite warm, I opted for a floral play suit from ZARA and teamed it up with gold flats with bold red lips.
Day two:
The plan was to visit as many places as possible and I wanted to wear something comfortable but summer chic.
I opted for a satin wrap printed camisole dress from ZARA, with gold accessories, but in view of having to walk around teamed the dress with white sneakers (I can feel eyes rolling…hehe) Finished the look with oversized sunglasses and a hat.
Night:
On this warm night for a dinner I wore black formal shorts and a green embellished top, both from ZARA with golden flats, finishing the look with bold red lips.
Day three:
The plan was to walk up the Petrin tower (quite a task!) and then take a bus to a different city, so I wore black distressed high waist jeans from New Look and team it with a colourful top from ZARA. White sneakers, sunglasses and hat to avoid sun burns!
Day four:
We were in the quaint little town of Karlovy Vary and had planned to walk around and explore the city.
I opted for a printed dress from ZARA and teamed with white sneakers.
Outfit details:
Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbanna
Sneakers: Topshop
Hat: Primark
Gold flats: F21
Backpack: Michael Kors
Travel tips:
- Plan outfits in advance and mix and match, saves a lot of space white packing
- I just carried two pairs of shoes one for day and other for night look.
- It is better to research the weather in advance.
- One backpack was sufficient as it was comfortable to carry around and matched with all the outfits.
Hope you liked reading it, do let me know your suggestions in the comments below….
Love, Chris…….
